I've been cutting hair since 2008. I founded my own product line in 2017 out of desperation. Reading the labels on hair styling products was confusing and worrisome. I wondered what I was putting in peoples hair. That sense of responsibility led me to make my own hair styling product to have full control over the finishing touches of the hair cutting process.
Creating a product from home was an extremely slow and difficult process with more failures than I care to count. I moved crates of raw materials, metal tins, double boilers and cooking tools up from the basement to make a mess over and over again in 2017. After many reformulations a final product was born that was on the shelves by January 2019.
