Founder Shane Johnson began cutting hair professionally in 2008 and spent 10 years at the Berkley Chop Shop, an award-winning Metro Detroit barbershop. A second-generation barber, he built his career around craftsmanship, consistency, and taking care of the people in his chair.
That experience eventually grew into Level Headed Grooming and later Level Headed Barber in Downtown Farmington. Today, Level Headed brings together professional barbering, grooming products developed from real-world experience, and education for barbers who want to keep improving their craft and business.
